After a 10 year hiatus the Little River Music Festival returns to the hills and valleys to celebrate exceedingly excellent local musicians. Little River Music Festival is looking to bring a relaxed and enjoyable day out for the entire family. Bring your camp chair, picnic blanket and be ready to enjoy a great day out with music, various food vendors and bars.

Tips for your day out

Hey festival goers 😃 A few handy tips for your day out:

  • 01Please have FUN!!
  • 02Follow the signs along Western Valley Rd to the car parking area, where there will be parking wardens to direct you. This is festival parking, but not overnight. PM us if you are stuck for camper parking and we can send you info.
  • 03Please no Dogs - we would love to accommodate your furry friends but due to it being a working farm we are unable to.
  • 04BYO Alcohol is NOT permitted but we do have a Bar onsite.
  • 05BYO Food IS permitted and there will be a number of food vendors making delicious food.
  • 06Gates open at 10am - Music starts at 11am.
  • 07Gate sales available on the day - Cash or Eftpos.
  • 08As responsible hosts we will have safe transport options to deliver people home within the close surrounds - but due to the limited nature of this service we do recommend you elect a sober driver to get your crew home safe n sound.
  • 09Sensible footwear is recommended due to it being farmland - it may be a good idea to ditch the high heels for this one.
  • 10Vendors accept Cash and Eftpos.

Patients

Patients is a Christchurch based four piece alternative pop and rock & roll band with elements of psychedelic, punk and shoe-gaze.

Al Park

Al Park has a long association with Jordan Luck. Park and his band, Louie and the Hotsticks were playing around Christchurch city at the start of the 80's. Park featured as the pimp in the Dance Exponents hit song, "Victoria" .Down through the years they would bump into each other until a couple of years back Jordan sung a two songs on Park's, "Better Already" album.

Mikayla

Based in Christchurch, the artist Mikayla Sippel, 18, has emerged as an inspiring presence in the music industry. At only 15, despite her young age, she made a significant impact by collaborating with the award-winning US rapper, NF, on the emotional, heartfelt track, 'Chasing.' Over the last few years, Mikayla has continued to carve her own path writing and composing her own indie pop/rock music.
